About Austin Grinberg, PhD, DBSM

Dr. Grinberg is a clinical psychologist licensed in the state of California. His clinical work focuses on behavioral medicine: the use of behavioral and psychological interventions in the management of medical diagnoses with a special emphasis on sleep disorders, including insomnia, nightmares, sleep apnea, and circadian rhythm disorders, cancer, and pain.

Dr. Grinberg received his doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Arizona and completed his internship and postdoctoral training at the VA San Diego/University of California, San Diego psychology training consortium.

He received board certification in Behavioral Sleep Medicine in 2021 and is a member of the Society of Behavioral Sleep Medicine.

In addition to keeping a small private practice, Dr. Grinberg practices at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Los Angeles and currently trains healthcare providers in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia as a certified VA national consultant.
